Is the Video Quality Good Enough to Read License Plates?
Yes, absolutely! The Video Quality is Superior HD 1080p (1920x1280) which is the same Quality as any normal TV. With our dash cam you will always be able to read license plates and record wrongdoings by other cars. To give you the peace of mind you deserve in case something does go wrong.
Does it turn on automatically?
Yes, absolutely! The dash cam turns on automatically when you start your car and start recording instantaneously. There's no need to press an annoying button.
You're also 100% covered when parked, because of its advanced 24/7 parking monitor.
Is it easy to install?
We designed our dash cam with complexity and simplicity in mind. Installation is done within a couple of minutes and 4 easy steps:
1. Simply plug the charger into the cigarette lighter socket.
2. Attach the extra suction mount (included) to anywhere on your windshield.
3. Insert a SD Card into the camera.
4. Done! From now on the dash cam will start recording automatically.
How does the parking monitor work?
The parking monitor automatically turns on once the car is turned off. The camera enters a low power state via the internal camera. When motion is detected a short video is automatically recorded. The battery usually lasts a couple of hours.
If you park your car for multiple days we recommend purchasing a hardwire kit which hooks up to your car battery allowing continuous recording for weeks on end (recommended for campers). You can purchase a hard wire kit on our website!
